One well-known example is the Tappeiner Trail, which starts in Meran. From this path, you can access a variety of different Waalwege (ancient irrigation channel trails). Thanks to the alpine-Mediterranean climate, you’ll encounter not only native plants but also southern species along the way. Feel free to stop at one of the cafés along the route and then take the bus back comfortably to Hotel Kassian.
